Desroches Island Resort is located 230km south-west of Mahé. With 14km of immaculate white soft sandy beaches and crystal blue waters, the exclusive island is one of the most beautiful in all of the Indian Ocean.
The entire island has only one luxurious resort with, 20 Junior Suites and 28 four bedroom Villas, all with sea-views and just a few steps from the beach.

Beach Suites
The beach suites are set amongst tropical gardens, palm trees and green lawns, just a few metres from the beach. Each air-conditioned beach suite offers privacy with its own veranda, lounge area, flat screen TV and mini bar. The well designed bathrooms have double basins, outdoor bath, outdoor shower and seperate toilet and bidet.
Beach Villas
Nestled in the midst of the tropical island forest, just metres from the palm-fringed white beaches, are two one-bedroom beach villas offering the most idealistic option for couples or singles seeking solitude. Equipped with a private plunge pool and living area, the beach villas are decorated in a unique style, enhanced by the surroundings. The air-conditioned bedroom overlooks the main deck with its private outdoor shower.
Luxury Beach Villas
Each fully equipped luxury beach villa has its own private swimming pool, central living and entertainment area as well as a modern kitchen. The luxury beach villas are well appointed in a style that is modern and luxurious, yet blends in with the sensuous remote island atmosphere. The en-suite bedrooms are air-conditioned, three bedrooms overlook the main entertainment area facing the sea with their own outdoor shower and decking. The fourth en-suite bedroom serves as an ideal children´s bedroom.
Presidential Villa
Set admist the carefully preserved nature sanctuary, the presidential villa offers 100m of beach frontage. The villa has 4 sea-facing luxurious en-suite bedrooms and 1 luxurious non-sea-facing en-suite bedroom. With spacious living and entertainment areas, this is the ultimate private experience for families and friends looking for an exclusive domain. The presidential villa has a private swimming pool, central living and entertainment area as well as a modern kitchen. The air-conditioned bedrooms have their own outdoor shower and wooden decks with outdoor loungers.

ENTERTAINMENT
There is no set entertainment programme.
SPA
The Spa is run by experienced and fully trained Balinese masseuses who offer a range of soothing and energising spa treatments. Enjoy a relaxing and refreshing massage treatment at either the Spa centre, your own suite, on the beach or under the tropical palm trees! Treatments have been designed to relieve stress, detoxify, cleanse and purify, refresh and rejuvenate mind, body and soul.

CHILDREN´S FACILITIES
Children of all ages are welcome at Desroches Island Resort. Families can learn about current research projects, even adopt an Aldabra baby tortoise from the nursery.
