Cotton House

Located on the intimate Grenadine island of Mustique, which is only 3 by 1/2 miles, the Cotton House is situated on a picturesque hillside surrounded by the Caribbean Sea to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. Mustique is one of the most exclusive private islands in the world and the Cotton House is the island's only full-service hotel and has 17 rooms and suites. The Cotton House has been managed by GLA Hotels since November 1998.

The resort stands on a picturesque hilltop between the tranquil Caribbean Sea and the windswept Atlantic Ocean. Just seventeen charming rooms and luxurious suites provide the accommodation, all of which are beautifully furnished and have a private patio, terrace or wrap around veranda from which to enjoy the views.

Rooms are thoughtfully equipped with mini-bars, CD player radio alarm clocks, Ipod docking stations, flat screen televisions with satellite channels along with DVD players and complimentary DVD library, terry bathrobes and slippers and a selection of books.

The resort offers the freshest Caribbean ingredients with imported delicacies from around the world. Lunches can be lingered over at the laid-back Beach Café, whilst dinner is an informal yet suitably genteel affair on the Veranda of the tranquil and elegant Great Room. Breakfast is served in Veranda Restaurant or in bedrooms. Light fare & drinks are served in the new Tree Garden Lounge.

The Cotton House is as intriguing as it is beautiful. Originally an 18th century sugar plantation hidden away on the island of Mustique, Lord Glenconner gave it a new lease of life in the early seventies, blending lush tropical beauty with plantation-style elegance and creating an exclusive retreat tailormade for visiting high flyers.

Cottages
The cottages are charming West Indian-styled individual accommodations with Atlantic Ocean garden views. Bedrooms feature king-size beds with decorative netting, spacious dressing rooms and bathrooms with elevated baths. Each room opens onto a large veranda which is furnished with lounge chairs and dining furniture.

Deluxe Rooms
The Deluxe Rooms are all with views to the Caribbean and feature separate baths and showers surrounded by lush tropical plants. All rooms have French doors leading onto a private elegantly furnished veranda with dining table, rattan sun loungers and a personal plunge pool and pool deck. Stunning views of the sunset and views across to the other Grenadine Islands from these rooms and their decks.

Superior Rooms
The Superior Rooms look out to the Caribbean and features an elevated bathtub providing bath-time sea and sunset views - an outdoor shower completes the bathroom experience. The bedroom is captured within a semi-circle wall of French doors which opens onto a furnished wrap-around veranda providing magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea.

Deluxe Suites
Deluxe Suites are ground floor one bedroom suites with Garden / Atlantic view. All have private verandas with dining table and rattan sun loungers. Deluxe Suites feature personal plunge pools with an elegantly furnished pool deck. Some of the Suites have a living room with sofa bed so ideal for families – with maximum two children. A door separates the bedroom from the living room and the suites each have one main bathroom with bathtub and walk in shower. A powder room is located off the living room.

Superior Suites
Superior Suites are first floor one bedroom suites with Garden / Atlantic view. All have private verandas with dining table and rattan sun loungers. The Suites have a living room with sofa bed so ideal for families – with maximum two children. A door separates the bedroom from the living room and the suites each have one main bathroom with bathtub and walk in shower. A powder room is located off the living room.

Duplex Suites
Situated on the landscaped hills of the resort overlooking its grounds and gardens. These suites provide picturesque views of the island’s panoramic layout as well as views of the Atlantic or Caribbean. The upper floor of each suite features bedroom furnished with a king bed veiled in romantic voile netting, and a large private balcony perfect for in-room dining or private spa treatment.

Spacious bathrooms are located both on the upper and lower floors of these suite, making them perfect for families. Located just outside the sitting room, which have one king sofa bed or two single day beds, is a terrace featuring a private plunge pool. Elegantly furnished with shade-umbrellas and lounge chairs, the private deck offers yet another ideal spot to enjoy an in-suite massage or a romantic dinner.

Cotton Hill Residence
With panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Resort Gardens, this extremely private two-bedroom residence has its own dedicated Butler to cater to every request. It boasts a spacious sitting room, dining room with an additional outdoor gazebo and large private swimming pool. Each bedroom is furnished with king beds and signature French Antique pieces. The master bedroom is set apart from the main residence, each of the bedrooms have a large bathroom with double basins, a large bath and separate shower, the master bedroom shower is located outside with views over the Atlantic Ocean.
