The main lodge has six spacious and sophisticated en-suite rooms, with private sundecks and two shared infinity swimming pools seeming to cascading down the steep hillside between the hotel levels. The new Cascades at 52 offers equally breathtaking views of the Atlantic, and offers just 7 rooms on four floors, including a two-bedroom exclusive use suite with private pool. With a sleek modern design, Cascades on 52 is a more contemporary property in the Cascades Collection, whilst retaining the ethos of the original Les Cascades.
Luc and Els, the European owners of Les Cascades make hospitable hosts. Els is a fantastic chef and creates lavish meals. Sumptuous poolside breakfasts make a great start to a day exploring Cape Town, whilst sundowners and four-course dinners on the wide terrace afford good food to be enjoyed along with sweeping sea views. In winter, when warmth and intimacy are de rigueur, alfresco dining is swapped for cosy fireside suppers. The lively conversation and family welcome remain constant at all times.
Only a short drive from the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, restaurants, shopping, daytrips of Cape Town and the winelands, Les Cascades is a great base for exploring the city attractions and those further afield.
