Raffles Resort Canouan Island

Raffles Resort Canouan Island is located on Canouan Island in the heart of the Grenadines in the southeastern Caribbean. The resort is set on 300 acres of a 1,200 acre private estate featuring three secluded white sand beaches, all surrounded by one of the world’s largest coral reefs. The new Raffles Resort is amphitheatrically set around the protected bay with each of the 156 single and double-storey luxury villas offering breathtaking views.

High on a hill overlooking the northern Grenadines, with sweeping views over the resort and the reef, is the exclusive Villa Monte Carlo. Located here will be the European-style casino (Trump Club Privee), a European gourmet restaurant (la Varenne), as well as an elegant ballroom for private functions.

One defining element at Raffles Resort Canouan Island is the size of the accommodations. Each of the guestrooms has an area of no less than 600 square feet and all have private covered patios or terraces with comfortable lounge chairs and views overlooking the beach and sea.

At this resort, there is never a shortage of things to do. Swim in one of the Caribbean’s largest swimming pools with magnificent sea view, or in the crystal blue waters of the sea itself. Alternatively, get your backhand into shape with some coaching at the resort’s tennis centre. At night (and indeed, during the day) indulge in the resort’s fantastic range of dining and entertainment options. La Piazza is a stylish Italian concept restaurant, Jambu’s is the signature all day dining restaurant, located spectacularly next to the pool and serving trans-ethnic cuisine embracing Latin and Japanese tradition. La Varenne offers panoramic views of the Caribbean and the islands of St Vincent & the Grenadines, whilst serving gourmet European cuisine and wines. The Godhal Beach Bar & Grill, built from tropical wood and bamboo is a day time hotspot, serving innovative Cuban / Caribbean food and cocktails.

Bellini’s is the resort’s signature bar, serving cocktails, Bellinis and light meals. A large Martini menu is on offer at the beachside Jambu Bar, whilst the Pool Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a world renowned Singapore Sling. After sumptuous dining, guests can make their way to The Trump Club Privee, a casino which revives the traditions of European style gaming.
