Discovery at Marigot Bay
Of all the memorable places on the stunningly beautiful island of St. Lucia, the one that seems to be best loved by visitors and St. Lucians alike is Marigot Bay. Described by novelist James A Michener as "the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean" , it has been photographed so many times that first-time visitors often experience a jolt of recognition.
Marigot Bay, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, offers 57 suites (half have outdoor jacuzzis) & 67 rooms carved into a lush, tropical hillside with dramatic views of the sea and beautiful yachts coming in and out of the harbour. All units can be one, two or three bedroom suites.
This luxurious, boutique resort provides an intimate environment for guests with every possible modern facility, including the Lapli Spa, fitness centre, shopping, bars and restaurants for the ultimate holiday experience. Marigot Bay has provided a safe haven for yachts over the centuries and marina docks at Discovery provide for visiting luxury sailing and motor yachts. In recent years, the bay has become a very well-known holiday destination with lively local restaurants and bars, a marina and now a luxury, eco-friendly hotel with a spa, fine dining and harbour-side bars.
The hotels's restaurants offer everything from haute cuisine to simple snacks. Enjoy the colonial charm of The Boudreau, or the harbourside buzz of The Coffee Dock. There are several bars, the Pink Snail, which is a tribute to the film Dr Dolittle, and the world famous Hurricane Hole Bar restored to its former glory. Every night, for those so inclined, there’s dancing under the stars with local musicians and entertainers showcasing their talents.

Marigot Bay (West coast of St Lucia), 30 minutes transfer from Hewanorra International Airport.
Guests will experience an indoor/outdoor living style, as all rooms and suites have large balconies overlooking the bay. There are 56 suites, over half of them with outdoor jacuzzis, and 66 luxury rooms.
Bedrooms and suites offer modern styling, with dark wood furniture, white walls and slate-tiled bathrooms. Kitchens in the suites are furnished with state-of-the-art Italian appliances and spacious dining areas overlook Marigot Bay.
The bedrooms have luxurious king-size beds, with a limited number of twin rooms that offer two extra-size single beds, which together form a king size. All have romantic draped netting. Every room features the following:

SPORTS
For the active, the Discovery fitness centre has state of the art cardio equipment and weightlifting machines. There are two swimming pools and a wide range of watersports including sailing, sea kayaking, scuba diving and snorkeling. The hotel tour desk can arrange island excursions and other activities such as horse riding, golf and rainforest hiking. The famous palm fringed beach is a two minute ferry ride across the bay.
SPA
Lapli Spa - Lapli, which means both ‘rain’ and ‘blessings’ in the Creole language, is designed to reflect the hues and tones of the Caribbean Sea and sky. Each treatment room has its own private deck with open-air shower and there is a Zen garden with ofuru wooden soaking tubs and massage cabanas. Treatments use a mix of E´Spa products and local ingredients available from Caribbean herbalists. St Tropez Tanning Essentials are also available.
