The health resort dates back to the 1900s which is reflected in the grand exterior and interior design. Accommodations are offered at two separate hotels. The Hotel Royal, built in 1909, has 154 rooms and suites decorated in elegant French style. The Hotel Ermitage, built in 1907, has 91 luxury rooms and suites. All the furniture at the resort was specially designed by English decorators from rosewood, Cuban mahogany, lemon tree, oak and ash. Hotel walls feature idyllic frescoes depicting fruit and flowers.
Guests at the Royal Parc Evian Spa Resort can choose from a number of vacation activities, including golf at the championship course at the Evian Masters Golf Club, swimming, tennis, archery, squash and climbing. There is also an outdoor and an indoor pool, a steam sauna and a gym.
