Kanuhura Resort
Kanuhura Resort is a five-star island hideaway, a unique resort, where service is understood and luxury is elegantly understated. The island setting is breathtaking and provides a beautiful, tropical backdrop for a world of easy going elegance, blissfully free of schedules, routines and cares.
Built on an atoll island with two beautiful little island neighbours, Kanuhura Resort is a very private hideaway with a wide range of relaxations, activities, sports, restaurants and bars. Close by are some of the world's best diving sites, with the outer reef dropping down nearly 2,000 meters.
The uncompromising attention to detail begins the moment guests touch down at Malé airport, where resort staff welcome and escort them to a private lounge to await the short seaplane flight to Kanuhura.
All villas and suites are built from natural materials and are equipped with tasteful solid timber furniture of the highest quality. The resort features 95 well appointed Beach and Water Villas or Suites. All are fully air conditioned and feature private sea-view verandas, four poster king size beds, open-air sunken bath tubs and showers.
Meal times offer an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and food. The main restaurant, Thin Rah, features three open cooking stations, allowing guests to watch the master chefs at work. The Olive Tree, a signature restaurant, offers traditional Mediterranean food in a contemporary setting.
The resort features the Veyoge Spa, which has its own lavish pavilion complete with health and beauty centre and separate amenities for ladies and gents.
