One&Only Reethi Rah’s 130 villas are discreetly placed amidst beautiful landscaping, each occupying its own secluded piece of sandy shore or private deck over crystal clear waters of the lagoon. Set apart from the rest of the resort and insulated from all noise and bustle, the spa aims above all for an atmosphere of calm and tranquillity. Built around a thatched reception area with views over the ocean, the building alone covers 1311m2 and offers Crystal Steam Rooms, Stone Saunas, Lifestyle Showers, hot pools, air and Ice Fountains.
One&Only Reethi Rah offers a host of activities on and offshore, including tennis, beach football and volleyball and table tennis. Guests can choose from numerous excursions, deep-sea fishing, sunset dhoni fishing, dolphin watching and deluxe desert island picnics. The Water sports Centre is run by trained and certified Staff. Its fleet of leisure craft includes catamarans, windsurfer and pedalos.
One&Only resorts are committed to younger guest just as much as their parents. KidsOnly at One&Only Reethi Rah has its own clubhouse with a minimum of 4 fully certified supervisors, its own pool, indoor entertainment facilities and dining area.
Location
Reethi Rah Island, 50 minute luxury yacht transfer from Male.
All villas feature a dedicated Villa host, air-conditioning, wide-screen plasma TVs, DVD players, surround sound systems, fully stocked beverage cabinet, smoke alarms, sun beds, safes, double bathrooms and dressing areas, large soaking tubs with oversized bathroom area. Extensive in-villa dining is available and the resort keeps a library of books, CDs and DVDs for use by guests.
Beach Villas
Interiors include views directly from the double bed onto the private stretch of beach. Decor is sleek with clean lines, a perfect foil for the tropical wood and thatch exteriors. A two-sided shaded veranda (26m2) overlooks the beach, with outside table, seating area and sun bed.
Beach Villas with Pool
Chic decking edges the villa and there is an outdoor pool, shower and day bed. These Beach Villas have an outdoor covered area of 26m2, plus 60m2 uncovered, with a rectangular private pool measuring 21m2, shaded by tropical trees and stretching towards the ocean.
Water Villas
Sitting over the pale blue waters of the lagoon, Ocean Villas are connected to the island by walkways. These villas are the same size as the Beach Villas, but with outdoor covered verandas on stilts (39m2 ) and split level decks of 31m2. Netting suspended from the sides makes for perfect breezy sunbathing over water.
Grand Beach Villas
Occupying their own sections of coast, Grand Beach Villas are hidden in tropical foliage with private access to the ocean. 157m2 interiors include two large bedrooms and a sitting area, looking directly over the water, and a bathroom with a large tub for two. Shady verandas provide generous seating and dining area, beyond which is a private beach, 25m2 pool and canopied day bed

Set on stilts above the lagoon, the Grand Ocean Villas are surrounded by 33m2 of decking for covered outdoor dining and seating, with another 51m2 uncovered, including suspended sunbathing nets over water, platforms for sun beds and 20m2 private pool.

SPA

Built around a thatched reception area with views over the ocean, the buildings alone cover 1311m2. The signature indoor/outdoor heat experiences are unique to One&Only: Crystal Steam Rooms, Stone Saunas, Lifestyle Showers, hot pools with shoulder massage, air beds and Ice Fountains. Eight single treatment suites are separately placed in pavilions, while two double treatment suites occupy platforms over the ocean and offer private steam showers and soaking tubs. Spa dining can be privately catered.
ESPA brings to One&Only healing traditions from many areas of the world – from Thai massage to European aromatherapy – with the emphasis on the Ayurvedic methods of the Sub-Continent. ESPA treatments are custom-designed for each guest´s specific needs. All treatments begin with a gentle footbath including marma point (pressure point) massage. Following treatments, men and women can relax in separate areas, with scented gardens and shade areas, perfect for reading or sleeping. Additional facilities include a hair, makeup and nails salon, and a fitness centre with cardio and resistance equipment. The spa has a Chi Pavilion set over the ocean for yoga and pilates. Tai Chi is also on offer.

Pros are available for lessons and as playing partners on request.
