Six Senses Zighy Bay

Six Senses Zighy Bay is located in a secluded bay on Oman’s Musandam Peninsula, hidden behind a range of dramatic mountains and set on a splendid 1.6km sandy beach. It is probably the ideal place to get away –
leaving behind the stress and hectic of modern day to day life – and to hide away, to relax, recover and have time to think, enjoy and recharge!

The Resort resembles in many ways a traditional Omani village, with narrow passages between the individual villas and palm shaded, sandy roads and is an almost car-free environment. Each of the villas, carefully designed and furnished to reflect local Omani culture, featured its own ‘infinity pool’ – hidden away to secure a maximum of privacy and tranquillity. The well-being and relaxation combined with attention to detail and focus on our guests personal needs are prime concern of our hosts.

The choice of dining alternatives includes a modern brasserie showcasing a multitude of cuisine flavors, a seafood restaurant, a wine cellar holding over 400 wine bins, a very unconventional bar and a stunning dinner experience high atop the mountains overlooking Zighy Bay. As ever, The design and material selection of this new Six Senses is based on attention to detail and commitment to the environment, creating an uncompromising standard of luxury and Innovative Style.

Guests will have a choice of three arrival experiences. A scenic ten-minute speed boat trip, a drive down from the top of the hill overlooking the bay, or choose to travel as a companion passenger with a Six Senses professional paraglider

SPA
Designed and constructed to reflect the typical Omani style and aesthetic traditions of the region, the Six Senses Spa Zighy Bay is an oasis on the bay. The spa’s wide-ranging menu of regional and Six Senses signature treatments focuses on holistic and pampering therapies using natural and environmentally friendly products. Treatments are administered by skilled international therapists and specialist practitioners who combine Eastern and Western techniques.

CHILDREN'S FACILITIES
Chaica’s Club – Kids Club

A superb Chaica’s Club programme is specially designed for younger members of the family with fully-supervised, age-appropriate activities for children ages four to eleven years old. A fun club created just for the kids is a complimentary club for children ages 4 to 11. A full programme of entertainment and activities is offered daily from 08:00am to 13.30pm, from 03:00pm to 5:00pm and again from 07:30pm to 09:00pm.

Besides enjoying the recreational activities available, kids can participate in educational leisure interests with other children ranging from learning about the ocean world, role plays on the historical legends of Oman, nature drawing, coloring, and much, much more!

Children under four are welcome to participate in activities for the younger set, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Al Feetean’s Club – Teenage Club

Teenagers are always welcome at the club both inside and outside the attached scheduled activities. Other complementary activities regularly available include: table tennis, table football, darts, Wii, football, volleyball, air hockey and a variety of other games and activities.
