The Maldives Voted Top for Luxury Holidays
04.03.2010

Recent reports show that the Maldives is not only the most desired holiday destination by the Brits but apparently it makes the top of the Chinese wish list too.

With its glorious palm fringed sandy beaches and crystal clear lagoons it is easy to see why the paradise island of the Maldives remains so popular.

Francis Tuke from ABTA, highlights the fact that “holidaymakers are wanting more than a day relaxing on a beach when they decide to go on a long haul trip”.  This makes the Maldives, with its array of activities the ideal destination of choice.

This tropical island ticks all the boxes. Resorts such as, Soneva Fushi, provide a tranquil atmosphere allowing you to do as much or as little as you want. Relax in the luxurious spa or if you feel more energetic why not try diving, snorkelling, cycling or tennis. With such an elegant and exotic resort on offer, it is plain to see why the Maldives is the most desired vacation hot spot from travellers around the world.
