Business passengers have always been the bread and butter of the airlines, being their most profitable sector. With the airline industry being hit big time by the recent economic crisis, they have unveiled new plans to attract back the luxury holidays passenger and the corporate traveller.
In its heyday airline travel was seen as exclusive experience. Nowadays however, economy passengers are finding themselves paying extra for the most basic of items such as pieces of luggage, their seat reservation and even their food. Business travellers however are finding the opposite with the introduction of flat beds, gourmet menus and up to date technology. Airlines are focussing on the comfort of their high revenue passengers.
