One&Only Cape Town

In the heart of Cape Town’s picturesque Victoria & Alfred Waterfront this contemporary urban resort embodies a chic island design and African flair. The crescent-shaped architecture of the seven-storey Marina Rise allows for splendid views of Table Mountain and Signal Hill from 91 spacious rooms and suites. Two lushly landscaped islands at the centre of the waterfront feature 40 Island Suites and the tranquil One&Only Spa.

One&Only Cape Town has joined South Africa’s culinary constellation since it first opened in April 2009, with the launch of Gordon Ramsay’s maze restaurant alongside Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa’s first outpost of legendary Nobu in Africa .

Carefully designed to appeal to guests accustomed to the highest world-class standards, One&Only Cape Town will feature the largest rooms and suites in all of Cape Town, exceptional meeting and conference facilities as well as the city’s most comprehensive spa.

Restaurants
Wine Loft
A spectacular tri-level wall of glass and steel will command the entrance to Maze’s impressive Wine Loft here guests will discover a magnificent collection of 6000 bottles with particular emphasis given to both acclaimed and undiscovered South African vintages. In the mezzanine tasting room, more than 100 wines will be available by the glass - the largest such selection in all of South Africa - served with suggested food pairings to create a new culinary experience with each tasting. Private dining available for 10 guests.
Maze
Seating up to 170 guests, maze at One&Only Cape Town is modelled on its British namesake
yet the tasting-sized dishes will evoke the bountiful flavours of the traditional recipes of South
Africa. The restaurant will showcase the best in local seafood and game as well as fresh
produce from organic South African farms.
Nobu
World-class master chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa will expand his eponymous empire with the debut of his first restaurant in Africa. His innovative blend of classically styled Japanese cuisine will incorporate fresh South African seafood and indigenous spices to create unique dishes such as toro tartar, rock shrimp and scallops in yuzu sauce and mochi ice cream.
Island Terrace
An open air venue catering to guests around the pool area will feature an allday menu of refreshing snacks. Guests may also enjoy breakfast as well as an à la carte dinner menu (seasonal) showcasing grilled fish and seafood dishes.
Vista Bar
At the heart of the Marina Rise, this high-energy modern bar will connect the main restaurant and Nobu, adding an exciting buss to the lobby area. With amazing views of Table Mountain offered through an eight - metre high glass wall, guests may dine on an à la carte, continental breakfast menu, a selection of creative light snacks throughout the day and afternoon tea.

An experienced team of qualified personal trainers will cater to all fitness levels utilising state-of-the-art equipment from Technogym® and the Wellness Company™, as well as the interactive Technogym Wellnesss System™ featuring a personalised workout key for tailor-made exercise programmes.
Pool
A 350-square-metre freeform, infinity-edge pool will be located on island featuring private sitting areas with double chaise lounges ideal for sunbathing or relaxing under shaded pavilions.
One & Only Spa
Located on its own private island in the waterway, the spacious 1400-square-metre spa will be a serene haven in the heart of a bustling city. Encompassing 11 treatment rooms for both single and couple therapies, the spa will also include a scenic relaxation room, sauna and steam rooms, men’s and women’s changing rooms, two 18-square-metre vitality pools and a full-service salon including pedicures and manicures by Bastien Gonzalez. The spa will also offer a simple organic menu of foods that fuel wellbeing.
