Six Senses Samui

Koh Samui is midway between Bangkok and Phuket, inside the Gulf of Thailand. The island is just 21k wide and 25k long and has frequent air services from Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin and Singapore. The massive seated Buddha image known as ‘Big Buddha’ is just five minutes from the resort.

Six Senses Samui is located on a headland on the northern tip of Samui Island, approximately six kilometers from the airport. It is set amongst 20 acres of indigenous plantings and offers stunning views of the surrounding sea and outlying islands.

All villas are located amongst natural vegetation around a gently sloping headland, which ensures maximum privacy while offering unsurpassed panoramas. All villas at Six Senses Samui are split level and have an open-style bathroom, which creates an atmosphere of space and light in the room, and also maintains views of the surrounding seas and islands from almost every location in the villa.

Infinity edge private swimming pools in most of the villas blend into the horizon and help maintain a feeling of seclusion even though all of the resort’s facilities are close at hand and augmented by Pool Villa Butlers.

Guests can choose from two dining options. The main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is located on the top of a small hill, offering seascape views to the north of Samui Island. Alternatively, dine at ‘The Rocks’. Open for dinner and located on the tip of the headland, this restaurant offers 270 degree views of the surrounding sea and outlying islands. Both restaurants are attached to elegantly designed bars.

Recreational activities at Six Senses Samui include a watersports centre, a large central swimming pool and the Six Senses Spa with outdoor treatment salas and indoor treatment rooms. The spa offers a large range of rejuvenating and invigorating treatments, as well as a sauna, steam room, and beauty salon.

Koh Samui’s new 18 hole golf course is only 20 minutes drive from the resort.
