Miami
Miami has a fairly mild climate and the weather is often extremely sunny and hot. The city is set next to the ocean and in the height of the summer, this does add a level of humidity, although the ocean breeze can be particularly refreshing. Generally the best times to visit are from May to early June and mid-September to October, when the climate is most pleasant.
In the winter, the Miami climate in December, January and February has mild average temperatures between 13°C to 15°C. Outside of the winter months, the temperatures only vary slightly and remain consistently warm, with average summer temperatures in June, July, August and September of between 25°C to 30°C.
California
California´s climate is often compared to that of the Mediterranean, due to warm, dry summers and mild winters. On the coast, average yearly temperatures range between 4°C and 28°C. Farther inland, summers are hot and dry, and at higher altitudes the weather is more typical of a four-seasons cycle with cold, snowy winters. The contrast is clear in the state’s two largest cities, where you’ll find very different weather patterns. San Francisco is famous for its fog — especially in the summer, and Los Angeles is known for its consistently sunny, coastal climate.

South Beach is the quintenssential Miami hot spot. From shopping to partying, this area of Miami Beach is well-known for being a trendy locale. Full of stores, boutiques, art galleries, and museums. The unique atmosphere lends to some interesting people showing up, and you never know who you may see!
Zoo Miami
Zoo Miami is fast becoming one of the best zoos in the nation. Its climate allows it to keep a wide variety of animals from Asia, Australia and Africa like no other zoo in the country. One of the first free-range zoos in the country, the exhibits are entirely cageless. Animals are grouped according to their geographic territory and animals that live together peacefully in the wild are placed in exhibits together.

Miami has a myriad of activities and attractions to offer to kids from museums and art centers to specialty parks and excursions. Adults will also have fun accompanying their children. Nature loving kids will find plenty of opportunities to develop their adventurous instincts by visiting exciting reservoirs and nature parks. Playful kids can visit various games and video entertainment centers, whereas active kids can practice their favorite sports activities in various areas of Miami.

California’s cities pulsate with energy long after the sun has set. In fact, it’s not until streetlights blink on throughout the metropolitan areas that some of the state’s most dynamic venues—blues bars, comedy clubs, dance halls, martini lounges—spring to life.
